Ceramic Coating

What's included

A true ceramic coating adds a physical layer to your vehicle's paint (clear coat) to add extremes hydrophobic properties and chemical resistance. Your vehicle will have the ability to repels water and dirt/grime to keep your vehicle cleaner longer. Now this stuff isn't magic, it won't make animal dropping disappear, but it will make your vehicle extremely easy to clean just like a new cooking ware non-stick coating. We now include 3 levels of coatings: • 1 year lasting Ceramic Coating (Starting @ $300) • 3-5yrs lasting Ceramic Coating (Starting @ $500) • 5-8yrs lasting Ceramic Coating (Starting @ $700) What is the difference? 3-5yr offers more gloss, while the 5-8yr offers a little less gloss but more durability. Both can be stacked for additional cost if you want the best of both worlds. I have paint protection film (PPF) is that a problem? Not at all! Ceramic coating can be apply to all exterior surfaces of your vehicle (minus rubber). Coating the film can help extend the life of PPF by adding more UV protection. It is a win win! All levels of ceramic coating include the following: • Exterior hand wash • Chemical decontamination • Claybar (removes tar and road grime) • Single stage paint polish (remove/lessen minor scratches) • Adhesion promoter & final panel wipe down. This improves the bond between the paint/clearcoat and ceramic coating. Scheduling restrictions: Ceramic coatings needs to be applied during dry weather to cure. Typically we want the day of and day after to be dry. There might be situations where we may need to reschedule if the weather just doesn't line up. June - September is the best time to schedule! Post Ceramic Coating Tips: • We recommend to only hand wash your vehicle or use a "touchless" car wash. No spinning brushes in general should ever touch any vehicle's paint. There is a reason automatic car washing are often called the "scratch & shine". • We recommend scheduling a hand wash with us every 3-6 months so we do a descale wash to remove any of that hard to remove mineral deposits. This will restore the self-cleaning properties of a ceramic coating and we can apply a "topper" coating to help lengthen the base ceramic coating life. Note: We are not a mobile detailer. All services are performed in Monroe, WA. We make every effort to prevent any wastewater from entering storm drains to maintain compliance with EPA and Washington State regulations.
