Ceramic Coating

What's included

A true ceramic coating adds a physical layer to your vehicle's paint (clear coat) to add extremes hydrophobic properties and chemical resistance. Meaning, your vehicle repels water and most dirt like it wasn't there. Now this stuff isn't magic, it won't make animal dropping disappear, but it will make your vehicle extremely easy to clean just like a new cooking ware pot or pan with a non-stick coating. The term "Ceramic Coating" is highly used in sub-par products, so this isn't the same stuff you find in your local auto store, this is vastly better in every way. Most spray-on ceramic coating only lasts a few months, but a true ceramic coating will last 1-7 years. We now include 3 levels of protections via our Apex Blue Collar line of coatings: • 1 year lasting Ceramic Coating (Starting @ $300) • 3-5yrs lasting Ceramic Coating (Starting @ $500) • 5-7yrs lasting Ceramic Coating (Starting @ $700) All levels of ceramic coating include the following: • Our standard exterior hand wash • Chemical decontamination via a Iron removal (this removes embedded brake dust) • Claybar (removes tar and other hard to remove road grime) • Single stage polish (remove and or lessen minor scratches and swirl marks shows on your vehicles painted surfaces) • Panel prep wipe down to remove any oils from the previous polishing stage. • Finally apply the ceramic coating Scheduling restrictions: Ceramic coatings needs to be applied during dry weather to cure. Typically we want the day of and day after to be dry. There might be situations where we may need to reschedule if the weather just doesn't line up. Late June - September is the best time to schedule! Note: Once your vehicle is coated, using a automated car wash will degrade the coating. We recommend to only hand wash your car or use a "touchless" car wash. No spinning brushes in general should ever touch any vehicle's paint. There is a reason automatic car washing are often called the "scratch & shine". We do recommend scheduling a hand wash with us every 3-6 months so we do a descale wash to remove any of that hard to remove mineral deposits. As well inspect the base ceramic coating and apply a "topper" coating to help lengthen the base ceramic coating life. Note: We are not a mobile detailer. All services are performed in Monroe, WA. We make every effort to prevent any wastewater from entering storm drains to maintain compliance with EPA and Washington State regulations.
